Consultation/Briefing - You will have the opportunity to discuss your tattoo in person or via phone, email, or social media messages. We gather information about placement, imagery, and design expectations. Please share your ideas and reference images at this time. Examples help tremendously, so don't be shy! This is your opportunity to guide the design and get involved in the creative process.
-
A rough draft composition will be submitted to the client for feedback. We aim to have finalized/approved designs ready the week before your appointment date. Please be prompt with feedback and edits so that we may have your final design completed in a timely manner.
-
We value your opinion and will do our best to include your edits. As a client centered shop, we endeavor to help you come away with the best possible tattoo for YOU. Please keep in mind, we are artists first, we spend a lot of time making sure your tattoo is drawn beautifully and thoughtfully designed. IF you decide to drastically change the concept, size, layout or major elements of the piece OR request more than 1 revision, an additional design fee may apply.
-
IMPORTANT NOTE: Maintain Consensuality - Your collaboration and trust is incredibly meaningful to us, but our Artists have the right to choose what they say yes and no to (“consent”). The creative process can be a journey. Let’s make sure we both are willing to take the ride every step of the way! The receipt of deposit does not grant the Client full control of the Artist’s time, ability, or person. The Artist reserves the right to discontinue work at any time, and to be appropriately compensated for project time to date in the case of a non-resolution. The collaboration process requires consent every step of the way. If you should change ideas, have a new request after initial agreement or if misalignment occurs within the process, the Artist reserves the right to discontinue work at any time. Please remember that deposits are non-refundable, though your Artist may choose to refund amounts based on their own assessment of how much time they’ve invested prior to the termination of the project.
-

Dress comfortably. Feel free to bring a comfy blanket or extra snuggly clothes, this can help you have a more comfortable experience. Please note, tattoos are messy and the clothes you bring/wear may get stained. Dress comfortably and with awareness of the area we will be working on. Please do not wear tight clothing or clothing that rubs on the area where your new tattoo will be.
-
Stencil - We measure and design your tattoo ahead of time, but we may need to adjust the location or scale of the design the day-of. We'll apply a stencil of your tattoo to the desired location and you’ll have time to view the design on your body and approve placement before we make it permanent.
-
Timing - We do our best to estimate the amount of time we’ll need, but please reserve plenty of time around your appointment as it may take longer than anticipated. We will offer you an estimate of how long each project will take, but please keep in mind that project times change due to a number of variables.
-
Aftercare - IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY- You will receive written aftercare instructions to ensure optimal healing of your new tattoo. Remember, your new tattoo will need 72 hours of very special care and will take approximately 2-3 weeks to heal completely. Failure to properly care for your tattoo may result in damage to your skin and/or your new tattoo. Never subject a new tattoo to chemicals, fragrances, or sun, and never submerge a new tattoo in water (swimming, bathing, hot tubbing). There is always a small chance that your skin may react negatively to the process of tattooing. Tattoo inks can cause allergic reactions in some people and broken skin is vulnerable to infection, irritation by chemicals, fragrances, sunburn, and heat rash. These reactions can destroy the integrity of your tattoo and are not a reflection of the technical application by the artist.
-
Payment - Our current rate is $150/hr for procedure time, unless otherwise specified by your artist prior to your appointment. The remaining balance of your tattoo is due the day of your appointment. Preferred payment methods are e-transfers such as Zelle and Apple Pay, or cash. If you prefer to pay with a credit or debit card, a transaction fee may apply.

TOUCH UP FEES: In the event that a touch up is needed, a $50 fee will be applied at the touch up session. This touch up fee covers SMALL adjustments; about 20-30 minutes of time is allocated for a session like this. If the piece requires MORE time for reasons such as scarring, lack of proper aftercare, excessive fall out, color work, extensive shading adjustments, or other variables that would extend the time spent working on the piece, the regular hourly rate will apply.
BANDAGE
• For dry healing, you may remove wrap when you get home and immediately begin your aftercare protocol.
• IF we use Saniderm/Ultraderm wrap, you may keep on for 2-5 days. This bandage is mostly waterproof and you can take short warm (NOT HOT) showers while it is on. Please note, your new tattoo will leach ink and plasma under the bandage. This is normal and will not hurt your new tattoo.
• After 2-5 days you may remove the bandage and begin your continued aftercare.
WASH
• ALWAYS wash your hands before touching your tattoo. Gently wash your tattoo 2-3 times a day with unscented antibacterial soap. Pat or air-dry.
BE VERY GENTLE
• Do not scrub, rub, or pick at your tattoo. Scabbing and peeling, is a natural part of the healing process and should not be rushed. Removing the scab can result in loss of ink and damage your tattoo.
APPLY UNSCENTED OINTMENT
• Apply approved ointment (Aquaphor, Hustle Butter or pure coconut oil) 2-3 times daily. Rub ointment into your healing tattoo and gently wipe excess off. Do NOT let ointment build up on your skin, use just enough to absorb completely.
DO NOT SUBMERGE UNDER WATER OR EXPOSE TO SUN
• While you are healing (2-3 weeks), do not expose your tattoo to steam, heat, or sun. Never soak your tattoo or submerge under water. Never use sunscreen or other products on your healing tattoo.
Your new tattoo is considered a wound, so take good care of yourself. Failure to follow aftercare protocols can result in infection or damage to your new tattoo and/or your skin. IF your tattoo becomes red, inflamed or shows ANY signs of infection, seek medical advice immediately.
